Pet Alliance of Orlando

Today was a volunteering day at the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. Every single dog and cat there were amazing, beautiful, loving, and fun. I was fortunate enough to spend some time with a few.

First was Onyx. Full of energy, super fun, and was very friendly. He had an amazing personality and was so excited to meet everyone around! He is an American Pit Bull and Terrier mix who is 1 year and 1 month old. He was surrendered to the shelter because his owners were out of space. He's great with other dogs and kids.

The second guy I met was Kash. Very shy and very curious, Kash was also very friendly and was excited to meet people and receive attention. He is a Hound mix at 1 year, 3 months old. His owners didn't feel they could handle the responsibility of a dog and brought him to the Pet Alliance. He is great with kids, other dogs, and cats.

The last friend I had a chance to spend time with was Amber. Amber stole my heart! She was so sweet, calm, and so loving. She just wanted to be held and shown love. She is what the shelter considers to be a senior dog at 7 years old. She is a golden Terrier Mix. She was taken to the shelter when her owners moved. She is good with kids and other dogs.

Be sure to visit this shelter, volunteer with these wonderful friends, or if you want to make a donation to help with medical bills, food, and many other things they need while waiting for their new home, visit HERE!

The Outpost

While leaving an amazing brunch at The Outpost in College Park, this guy popped his head out just in time for me to snap a photo. I didn't want to disturb his group so I don't have his name or story, but he's obviously a festive fellow who seems wise and distinct. Happy to see College Park's business being so dog friendly and hope to run into many more friends in the future.

Baxter is a Golden Retriever who is 7 1/2 years old! He is the most well behaved dog I have met to date. His hobbies include chewing toys, destroying toys, ripping toys apart, and shredding toys.

Red Rover and Mandy

Mandy (black Poodle) is 12 years young, loves people and has an extremely soft coat. Her sister, Red Rover is a 2 year old puppy who is ready for attention and has a great energy.

Oliver was so excited to receive attention and loved the camera! He is a spry Corgi with a lot of love to give.

This is Divo. She responds best to commands given in Spanish. She is a young Cocker Spaniel and incredibly friendly.

Jasper was the first puppy I met at Lake Eola today. He was very scared and shy, but quickly warmed up to me. He is an Italian Greyhound and only about 16 months old.
